Unsung Hero
A small game made for the Indie Game Clinic COLLAB JAM.
Help the hero protect your village - he's tough, but an absolute idiot! If you don't give him the right weapons, he'll die and your home is doomed.
This is the first project our two man group has ever completed, start to finish, without following a guide.
CONTROLS:
- Use the mouse or touch controls to select your hero's weapon!
- Hammer beats Dagger
- Sword beats Pitchfork
- Spear beats Axe

I really enjoyed this! Looks fantastic. Seems like it could be expanded linearly, with just more weapons, or maybe turned into a rhythm game. Either way, very fun!
Sound effects, a bit of tutorial, would have taken this one to a whole different level of fun.
While music and more difficulty would have added to the length of play, I think Sound effects and tutorial would have been better wins.
Think about introducing different weapons via a tutorial, you could have had some fun story elements baked in.
Yup, those are actually what we're working on next. I think they'll go a long way to making this feel more like a proper game!
It's a fun idea, but I basically beat it on accident. Maybe there could have been some more challenge involved ^^
I agree - it's pretty hard to lose, hah.
Thanks for playing! I'll see what I can do about adding in the previously planned complexity in the near future.
alright, I hope that goes well. Best of luck for you two!
This is pretty goofy -- I like it. It would be better if the "what-beats-what" was listed/shown on screen somehow. Still a cute little game thing!
Thanks!
I'll be working on an in game tutorial soon - it's definitely something the game needs.
